The Fox EOS Pro Bivvy – 1 Person Vapour Cap is a “skull cap” style overwrap designed to fit the top of the EOS Pro 1-person bivvy. Unlike a full bivvy skin that covers the entire shelter, the Vapour Cap is a more compact accessory that focuses on key areas to provide specific benefits.

Key Features and Description

• Reduces Condensation: The primary purpose of the Vapour Cap is to create an air gap between the bivvy’s main roof and the external air. This a simple yet highly effective way to significantly reduce condensation on the inside of the bivvy, especially in damp conditions or when a large amount of moisture is created from cooking or breathing.
• Adds Shade and Reduces Heat: By providing a double layer of fabric on the roof, the Vapour Cap helps to increase shade and reduce the internal temperature of the bivvy in hot, sunny conditions. The dark laminate fabric of the EOS Pro range helps to reduce light penetration, further contributing to a cooler, more comfortable interior.
• Extra Protection: The cap adds an extra layer of protection to the bivvy’s roof, shielding it from direct sunlight and heavy rain. This helps to extend the life of the bivvy’s main fabric by protecting it from UV degradation and general wear and tear.
• Compatible with EOS Pro Bivvy: The Vapour Cap is specifically designed with “moulded keyed elbow joints” on the EOS Pro Bivvy to ensure a perfect fit and secure attachment.
• Lightweight and Compact: As a smaller accessory than a full overwrap, the Vapour Cap is very lightweight and packs down into a small, convenient size, making it a practical addition to your fishing kit without adding significant bulk.
• Waterproof Fabric: It is made from a high-quality 100% polyester fabric with an 8000mm hydrostatic head rating, ensuring it is fully waterproof and capable of withstanding heavy rain.
